I don’t know how many caught the show and if you didn’t I suggest watching/listening to it because it was great but, to sum up, my opinions, wow! I mean I have always enjoyed and for the most part, agreed with the rankings but as Bryan and Vince were saying the amount of recency bias is so absurd it shocks me still now, a day after the fact. I don’t dislike Notre Dame at ten, it’s fair and honestly deserved but also 10 isn’t a bad spot to start because I feel even with the way that the committee has viewed head to head they don’t want Cincinnati in so much that they might be willing to put 1 loss Irish in over them. You can literally see that they are trying to make B10 vs. SEC playoffs which is SO absurd. Don’t be shocked if a 2-loss Bama makes it in. We need to see these committee meetings I think if we at least got to hear debate/reason as it happened we could agree/disagree with evidence not just assume what they think. Anyways, the Irish are still in this and at the end of the day I’m still thinking the same thing, “Go Irish, Beat Navy!”

Comment on week 2 rankings. I’m nbt enamored of Cincinnati, but it’s obvious that they want to get 3 spots locked up between the Big 10 and the SEC.. BUT,,,  if the likely winner of the Big 10 West  happens to be Wisconsin (which is very much a possibility) then what if Wisconsin upsets the Big East winner..  What does that do to Notre Dame in the playoff?

That would help obviously by eliminating the big 10 from the cfp. However, ND needs more than that, Cincy loss, OU loss probably, Oregon loss wouldn’t hurt, Alabama losing big, and OSU winning out to then lose to Wisconsin. I just don’t really see it happening anymore.
