  I feel like with Marcus Freeman at head coach we’re taking two steps forward and one step back which is so much better than taking one step forward and two steps back in the BK Era.

  I actually don’t view the Brian Kelly era as one step forward two steps back, just a step forward. If not for the Kelly Era Freeman probably doesn’t get the head coaching job because Swarbrick wouldn’t have known Freeman on the same level that he did. Now he may have still gotten the job but I do believe that working experience at Notre Dame helped a bunch.
